I thought Baby Alive Bouncin' Babbles was adorable. The sounds were very realistic and cute. My daughter and I played with her for a while then she lost interest. My husband picked up the doll and accidentally hit himself in the face with the head. He said to report that he would never recommend it for young children because the head was so hard. He's right.

When the UPS delivery driver arrived with the box, he said, "Whatever it is seems to be alive!" Indeed, the box was talking and wiggling.
Before I gave the doll to my niece, I had set it on the desk in my office. I found out very quickly that the doll is activated by light. Every time I'd walk into my office and turn on the lights, Bouncin' Babbles would come to life and start bouncing and talking. Scared the crap out of me! After doing that a few times, I put the doll in the closet of my office with a post-it note stuck to the door that read, "Don't Forget the Doll in the Closet." This raised a few eyebrows. But every time you opened the closet door, she'd come to life. Better to be reminded that she was in there then to suffer cardiac arrest.
Bouncin' Babbles herself is wonderful. She bounces, she squirms, she giggles and talks baby talk.
